This book isn't bad considering I read a lot of vampire books. I really like how Annette Curtis Klause adds feeling into the book, because I felt a lot of empathy in this one. Also, she adds realistic feeling to the setting and plot of the story, which I really like! Additionally, I felt that there wasn't a lot of development into the vampire culture; It slightly touches it. It's mostly based on the "growing up" or "mature development" of Zoe added with a little vampire romance. In the end, it's still a good read.
