Introduction: Wataru Minakami, a top middle school student, had failed his high school entrance exam. He soon discovered that he has been recommended to Star Gazers Hill West University; the only high school which is located on Promise Island. Before he knew it, he was sent off to Promise Island. Once he had arrived, he accidentally falls into the sea and was saved by a girl named Karen. On his way to the Welcome House, he meets up with several other girls and upon arrival, he discovered that he had 13 sisters (12 are real, 1 is fake). Wataru began to grow a relationship with each of his sisters in a unique way and he discoveres a long lost promise which he had made when he was younger on the island. This anime is good to watch when you are bored or have nothing to do. It doesn't have a strong plot, but learning about the life of one brother who is supporting his sisters can be pretty entertaining. It's a very hilarious show, and I love the part where each of the sisters call Wataru by a nickname. They each have they're own way to call Wataru, for example, onii-chan or aniki. Since there are many characters, you tend to fall in love with at least one of them. |
