Introduction: Mitsuki Koyoma is a 12 year old girl who is a talented singer. Her dream is to become a pop idol, but she is unable to sing loudly or for too long because she has throat cancer. One day, she recieves a visit from two shinagmi's named Takuto and Meroku. For some odd reason, Mitsuki is able to see the death gods. During their conversation, one of the shinigami accidently told Mitsuki that she only has one year to live. When Mitsuki discovers this depressing news, she decides to audition because it was her last chance to fullfill her dreams, and a promise she made to Echii (a childhood friend who moved to America when they were at the orphanage). Upon arriving at the audtion, she discovers that she was too young to audition. One of the shinigami, Takuto, dcides to help her and transforms the 12 year old Mitsuki into a 16 year old girl. When she was transformed, she no longer had her throat cancer. Now, Mitsuki was able to audtion and she had won the part to become the next, newest pop idol who goes by the stage name, Full Moon. As her singing career continues, she undergoes through many conflicts. Will Mitsuki (Full Moon) be able to achieve her dreams and find Echii before it too late? Full Moon wo Sagashite is a really really really good anime! It's a really moving anime and it really touched my heart after I watched it. The fact that a 12 year old girl went all out to achieve her dreams. It was a big motivator! I highly recommend that everyone should, at least, try ot watch this anime because once I started, I couldn't stop! I HAD to finish the anime, and I think it took me several days to finish it. |
