Synopsis

Koyoma Mitsuki, a 12 year old girl, is very a talented singer. When she was younger, she made a promise to her best friend and first love, Sakurai Eichi, that she will become a pop idol. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with a sarcoma, which is growing in her throat. The tumor causes her pain whenever she sings too loud or for too long. To makes matters worst, she receives a visit from two shinagmi's named Kira Takuto and Yui Meroko (together, they are known as Negi Ramen) and accidently discovers that she has only 1 more year to live. For some reason, Mitsuki is able to see the shinigami's and upon hearing the terrible news, she decides to audition for a pop idol contest.

Bad luck follows when she discovers that she was under aged. As she was about to give up, Takuto decides to help her and transfers her into a 16 year old girl who was able to sing without any problems (cancer was healed). Mitsuki auditions and won the competition without any re-calls. As a new, young, and popular pop idol, she is know as Full Moon.

Main Characters

Koyoma Mitsuki: Mitusuki is the main protagonist in this anime. When she was younger, her parents died and she lived in an orphanage where she befriend Sakurai Eichi. Eventually their friendship turns into something more and as they thought they would be inseparable, Eichi was adopted. Eichi's adopted parents lived in America which means he would have to move. Around the same time, Mitsuki was placed under the guardian of her strict grandmother (mother's mom) and the two were separated.

Mitsuki develops a tumour called sarcoma in her throat. This hinders her singing and her dreams in becoming a pop idol

Full Moon: Full Moon is Koyoma Mitsuki's 16 year old self. She is able to transform into this form with the help of Kira Takuto, one of her guardian shinigami. In this form, she is able to sing with a cancer free throat and achieve her dreams as a pop idol.
